The BeatlesYellow Submarine is getting the comic book treatment in 2018, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Titan Comics will handle the release, with MAD Magazine editor Bill Morrison writing and illustrating the book.

The adaptation coincides with the movie’s 50th anniversary next year.

Yellow Submarine saw the Fab Four led through an animated wonderland, trying to rescue it from the Blue Meanies. With slick animation and unreleased tracks, the movie proved to be a hit with critics and fans alike.

“We’re thrilled to be publishing The Beatles: Yellow Submarine for the 50th Anniversary of this fantastic movie,” Chris Teather, publishing director at Titan Comics, said to the Hollywood Reporter about the new book. “We can’t wait for Beatles fans to experience this official adaptation.”

A line of Titans vinyl collectables based on the movie will also hit store shelves later this month. The “All Together Now” collection will feature miniature models of the band, the Blue Meanies, the Apple Bonker and the Four-Headed Bulldog.
