Happy National Pi Day! Top 10 Pie Anthems

Today, March 14th is Pi Day! (aka 3.14… get it?)

We’ve spent our whole lives avoiding math at all costs, so we’re declaring this Pie Day as well to commemorate the delicious dessert 3.14 shares its name with.

Over the years, plenty of rock anthems have been written about pie–cherry, honey, sweet potato and more (musicians do not discriminate against any flavour!)

To celebrate National Pi Day, we’re counting down the top 3.14 pie anthems… rounded up to the nearest ten!

Odes to flaky crust and savoury fillings, or sexual innuendos? We’ll let you decide.

10. Warrant – “Cherry Pie”

9. Motley Crue – “Slice Of Your Pie”

8. Paul McCartney – “Flaming Pie”

7. Bob Dylan – “Country Pie”

6. Ray Charles & James Taylor – “Sweet Potato Pie”

5. Blind Boy Fuller – “I Want Some Of Your Pie”

4. Four Tops – “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)”

3. Led Zeppelin – “Custard Pie”

2. The Beatles – “Honey Pie”

1. Don McLean – “American Pie”
