On July 4, 2003, we lost Barry White on his 29th wedding anniversary.

While undergoing dialysis and awaiting a kidney transplant in May 2003, White had suffered a severe stroke, leaving the public eye. Two months later, at the age of 58, the world lost the legend.

White’s career accomplishments are nothing short of incredible: 106 gold albums worldwide, 41 of which also attained platinum status. He also had 20 gold and 10 platinum singles, plus his worldwide record sales have surpassed 100 million.
