Queen Set To Perform At 2019 Oscars With Adam Lambert

Queen is slated to perform at the 2019 Academy Awards this Sunday (February 24).

Original members Brian May and Roger Taylor will perform alongside touring singer Adam Lambert (in place of late singer Freddie Mercury.)

The Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, is up for multiple awards, including Best Picture. Rami Malek is up for Best Actor for his performance of Mercury.

Other announced performers include Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performing “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings performing “When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings” from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Jennifer Hudson performing “I’ll Fight” from RBG, and a surprise guest will perform “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from Mary Poppins Returns.

The Academy Awards will air live at 8:00 PM EST.
