2018 was another pinnacle year for strong music.

From new releases by landmark artists like Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello, plus strong soundtrack showings from movies like Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Surprising albums, including a collaboration between Sting & Shaggy and a jazz album from actor Jeff Goldlbum, also kept things interesting.

Here are 30 of our favourite releases of the year. Did we miss any? Let us know on social media @musicvaultz.
