The Rolling Stones Perform Songs They Haven’t Played In Years During Tour Opener

The Rolling Stones are on tour once again, and they’re doing anything but the typical set list.

The band played its first show of 2017 in Hamburg, Germany on Saturday, and came through with the promise that the tour would feature “a couple of unexpected tracks each night.”

This included Goats Head Soup opener “Dancing With Mr. D”, a song that band hasn’t performed live since a European tour in 1973.

Fans voted to have “Under My Thumb” be performed, and the Stones came through!

The band also electrified the crowd with “Play With Fire”–a track not played since 1990.

The six-week tour continues in Munich tomorrow night (Sept. 12.)
